We are excited to announce the opening of nominations for SELF Inc.’s inaugural Horizons Youth Award, which honors a remarkable youth who has demonstrated outstanding commitment and service to addressing homelessness through volunteerism and community engagement.
This award aims to recognize and celebrate young Philadelphians, ages 18 to 24, who have made a significant impact in our community by engaging with initiatives that support homeless individuals and families. Whether through direct service, advocacy, or innovative projects, we want to highlight and reward the dedication of these inspiring young leaders.
– Include a brief description (no more than 200 words) of the youth’s contributions and impact in the community.
– Provide contact information for the nominee.
– **Deadline for Nominations:** Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024
– **Award Ceremony:** The SELF in the City Gala on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024, 6-10 p.m. at the Hilton Philadelphia-City Avenue.
We encourage you to take a moment to recognize the youth in Philadelphia who are working hard to make a difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness. Together, let’s celebrate their spirit of compassion and service!
